Jamie Reid is an English artist and anarchist who had connections with the Situationists. The Situationist International was an international organization that consisted of artists, intellectuals and potential theorists. The organization was well known in Europe from 1957 when it began to form to 1972 when it became terminated. His artwork is made up of letters cut from newspaper headlines; the technique he has used has made the writing look like it was in a money note. His work symbolises the history of punk rock, especially punk rock in the UK. The work he is best known for includes: Sex Pistols album Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols and the singles Anarchy In The UK, God Save The Queen, Pretty Vacant and Holidays In The Sun.
